CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

“Alan has the most exceptional knowledge of yarns and processes, from field to finished product. As a knitwear designer, I thoroughly enjoyed the seminars Alan had prepared, specifically to broaden my understanding of yarn counts and how this translates to the knitting of finished garments. I couldn't recommend Alan more highly!"

HELEN HOLMES, HEAD OF KNITWEAR DESIGN, PAUL SMITH LTD

"Alan has a deep and extensive knowledge of the preparation, spinning and dyeing of wool. An expert in determining the most efficient way to produce the product you require and helped us to specify a premium product at a reasonable cost.

Alan’s extensive knowledge of the wool fashion trends means that he is invaluable to help you consider wool weights and colours in the dynamic fast changing wool market.  Put simply, he knows what will sell and has the courage of his convictions to tell you.

Alan is great fun to work with, no question is too stupid and his patience is unending."

JAYNE DRYDEN, HOME FARM WENSLEYDALES

"We always enjoy working with Alan, not only is his in-the-round working knowledge and practical experience of British wool and textiles second to none, he is also a brilliantly creative thinker, always interested in new ideas. Open and straightforward, Alan is a human being as well as a complete professional, surely the best kind of consultant to work with?"                    KATE DAVIES, KDD & CO

“Working with Alan was both a pleasure and an education. There seems to be nothing he doesn’t know about how to produce the most beautiful and commercial of yarns from natural fibres, and his acuity and attention to detail meant I had full confidence throughout the process that our yarns would be a success.”                                                                                       RUTH RANDS, HERDWEAR
